Okay, so here goes.

I think my life is finally going to start working itself out. If I can get my act together, I may be able to audition for what seems to be a pretty sound band. And maybe finally make music. That would be great. it just takes getting my act together. Because I'm an easilly embarassed person. And I'd be worried that they wouldn't like me. . . so it would take a lot of confidence boosting to actually sing in front of them. But. . . I think I could pull it off if they gave me time.

And I'm writing at least one essay. Going to try desperately to get myself published. I would like that a lot.

Good luck :) And I'm the same. I'm terrified of being in front of a crowd of people. But pull out all the stops. Think that this is what I really love, and I want to go far. I'm lucky I'm just a band artist and song writer lol. Although showing songs can be kinda embarrasing ^^;
So yeah I'll add you to your watch to hear the good news!

Thanks. I don't really have any fear of being in front of people--I'm very confident in my ability to please the masses (apparently I'm attractive) and also, I have a lot of practice: four years of marching band and musical.
But, auditions come with that win-or-lose feel about them. That there is no real way of telling if you did well enough until you either get the job or dont'. That makes them nerve-racking any way you go with them.

Oh, thats good. They might want a sexy lead singer lol.
Yeah, what I would say is try not to think about it. Even though its really hard. Build up confidence in any way possible for it and like I said, pull out all the stops ;)

The first step of the audition process is I have to send them recordings of stuff I've written. And I don't know after that. So. That shouldn't be too bad, just have to get used to the sound of my own voice--then, then everything should be easy. Also, I'm getting consultation from my best friend, and possibly her mother.

Sexy lead singers sell albums. Even if for the wrong reason--girls. Look at Panic! at the Disco or My Chemical Romance.

Yeah, and it will be okay cause your not face to face :) I would much rather do that, build up confidence with them at first. But my advice is, dont be nervous, be so good you make them nervous :)

Yar they sure do lol. Lets just hope they like your band for the music :)
